Australia Mine

Screenshot 2014-08-11 at 9.48.57 AM.png
The Australian government has given the OK for a  huge underground coal mine. They made this project and it could produce 60 million tonnes of coal a year. This mine will become the most largest mine in the world. It will help provide electricity to 100 million people. However, the mine is located at The great Barrier reef. It is a world famous wonder of nature. They are also worried about plans that would allow the mining company to dredge material from the seabed. However, the Australian government say there will be strict rules to limit any damage.
I find this hard to believe that any Government would do this to a wonder of the world.

Blog Post Personal Information

When we share online we will make smart decisions about what personal information we share
  • I will use my first name only
  • I am going to think carefully about what I share online and if I am not sure I will  ask my parents, teachers or principal.
  • If I can’t ask anyone or I am not sure I will  keep it private
  • I will be sharing what I am learning, new knowledge and information relevant to my learning

I have been learning to make my smart decision about what personal  information that I going to put online.. We learnt how to share our learning stuff and think carefully what we  put on our blogs. I learnt that if I don’t want to put my birthday on I don’t have to.
